Patricia "Patti Jo" Barth, 74, of rural Marion, Iowa, died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, at her residence.
A private memorial service will be held.
Patti was born March 5, 1941, in Hot Springs, S.D., to Lorene (Henry) and Frank Eilers Jr. She graduated from Sacred Heart School in Monticello, Iowa. On Sept. 5, 1959, she was united in marriage to Joseph Barth at Sacred Heart Parish. To this union five children were born.
Patti was self-employed in cleaning services, and a mother to many.
She loved her flower gardens and playing in the dirt. She was gifted in many ways, more than most ever knew. She was tenderhearted and adored animals. She will be deeply missed by those who loved her.
She is survived by daughter, Lisa Barth of Florida; sons, Jamie (Tanya) Barth of Robins and Jeff Barth of Alburnett; grandchildren, Sydney and Ryan Barth; sister, Terri (Terry) Haugh of Cedar Rapids; nieces, Lindsey and Allison; and nephew, Christopher.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph in 1998; daughters, Dondee and Lori; and her beloved grandson, Elijah Main.
