Patricia Ann Holderness, 89, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Monday, September 16, 2024. Private family services will be held. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids is assisting the family.
Patricia was born September 1, 1935, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Everett and Margaret (Teller) Klumforth. She married Lester Holderness. Patricia dedicated her life to raising her children. She loved jigsaw puzzles, fishing, riding her bicycle, sewing, and cross stitch. Most of all, she loved her family.
Survivors include her children, Mike Holderness, Rick Holderness, Patricia Holderness (Terry Medulan), Lester (Theresa) Holderness, Jean (Michael) Drafahl, Debbie Holderness, and Patrick (Robin) Holderness; 18 grandchildren; and many, many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Margaret Klumforth; daughters, Brenda (Dennis) Yowger and Pamela Sue Holderness; and five sisters, Ione, Marguerite, Frances, Priscilla, and Shirley.
