PATRICIA ALICE HARWICK
Cedar Rapids
Patricia Alice Harwick, 91, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at Crestridge Care Center in Maquoketa. She was born Feb. 10, 1930, in Cedar Rapids, to Austin Davis and Gertrude Black Davis, an only child. She was married to Keith Harwick
on Oct. 10, 195, in Cedar Rapids. She was last employed by Rockwell-Collins in the print shop, and volunteered for Aid to Women in Cedar Rapids. She was a charter member of Noelridge Park Church.
Patricia lived in Cedar Rapids for most of her life. In 2005, she moved to Evergreen Estates on Twelfth Street in Cedar Rapids. In January of 2007, she transferred to Penn Center in Delhi, Iowa, where she lived for 11 years. In 2018, she moved to Crestridge Care Center in Maquoketa, Iowa. At the time of this move, Patricia was still very active, walking up and down the halls for a good part of the day. Crestridge required her to use a wheelchair, but she still traveled the halls until her last days of her life.
She is survived by one son, Timm Harwick (life partner Greg Naegele) of Gaithersburg, Md.; and a sister-in-law, Beverly Harwick Schrag of Madison, Wis.
A private service will be held at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, with Elder Bernie Hayes of Noelridge Park Church officiating. Visitation will be 12:30 to 1 p.m. Monday, March 15, at the Chapel. Pat will be buried with her husband Keith at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Noelridge Park Church. Arrangements made by Cedar Memorial Funeral Home.
