Patricia A. "Pat" Rizzio, 82, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2021, at UnityPoint Health-St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel
of Memories, with Tim Ferry officiating. Entombment will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to
1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at Cedar Memorial Park

Pat was born on Oct. 3, 1939, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Boise and Stella (Appleby) Cole. Pat grew up in the Hopkinton area. She was united in marriage to Joseph G. Rizzio on Dec. 31, 1957, in Marion, Iowa. Pat worked for Quaker Oats in Cedar Rapids for over twenty years. She attended Rhema Bible College. Pat was a God-fearing woman who loved to spread the Gospel. She traveled the world ministering in other countries. Pat loved to go fishing. She enjoyed cooking and passing down classic cooking techniques to her grandchildren.
Survivors include four sons, Ricky J. (Tamera) of Brooklyn, Steven Matthew (Joni) of Center Point, Bradley Dean (Lisa) of Mario, and Greggory Scott (Christine) of Okahumpka, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Joseph, on Nov. 7, 2014; and four brothers, Gary Knoke, Kenneth Cole, William Cole and Cardyn Cole.
