Patricia "Pat" Opheim-Green, 70, of Brighton, died Friday, May 27, 2022, at University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. She was born May 19, 1952, in Cedar

Rapids, to Gerald and Geraldine (Deal) Thorington. Pat grew up in Cedar Rapids and graduated from Kennedy High School

in 1970. She married Kevin Opheim May 16, 1981, in Cedar Rapids. Kevin went to be with the Lord Sept. 12, 2006. Later on, she married Dick Green Aug. 6, 2011, in Robbins, Iowa. Pat worked in real estate for 37 years in the Cedar Rapids area, working for Blue Ribbon Realty and Marion Arens Realty.

Pat is survived by her husband, Dick, in Brighton; two sons, Tyrone Brumwell and wife Gretchen of Cedar Rapids and Matt Obiedzinski and wife Mary of Springville; two daughters, Kassy Jacobs and husband John of Williamsburg and Chrissy Stauber of Marion; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Thorington and wife Sharon of Galesburg, Ill.; and one sister, Jan Leaven and husband Ron of Cedar Rapids.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 4, in Brighton City Park Shelter, 100 East Washington St., with Pastor Dick Green officiating. Bring lawn chairs. Burial will be at a later date. A general memorial has been established and may be left at the service or mailed to the family at 101 S Liberty St., Brighton, IA 52540. Gould Funeral Home of Brighton is assisting the family.
