Pasker, Paula Ann
Paula Ann Pasker, 66, of Manchester, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at the Regional Medical Center in Manchester.
She was born Nov. 18, 1946, in Rock Island, Ill., the daughter of Victor Ross and Lois (Johansen) Ross Lahue. Paula was raised and educated in the Manchester area and graduated from West Delaware in 1965.
Paula was employed in the family business, Dairy Queen, in Manchester, owned a catering business, and was the food service director for St. Mary's Elementary School. Paula was united in marriage to Kenneth Joseph Pasker in Manchester on March 1, 1965.
Paula was a loving wife, mom, and grandma. She enjoyed playing cards, riding horses, and cooking. Paula was a member of the C.C. Club and Leisure Acres Camping Club and was a 4-H leader.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Pasker of Manchester; four sons, Ken (Lisa) Pasker Jr. of Manchester, Tom Pasker of Cedar Rapids, Dan (Stephanie) Pasker of Mount Horeb, Wis., and Jason (Meghann) Pasker of Cedar Rapids; nine grandchildren, Ashley, Kelsey, Cortney, Carly, Kyle, Mason, Jordyn, Ava, and Max; one great-grandchild, Aiden; her brother, David (Robin) Ross of West Des Moines; her stepmom, Joyce Ross of Manchester; and one niece, Olivia Ross of West Des Moines.
Paula was preceded in death by her parents.

Mass of Resurrection: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manchester, by the Rev. Richard Gaul. Visitation: 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester, with a 2 p.m. Scripture service, and also one hour before the service at the church on Monday. Inurnment will be at a later date at Mead Cemetery, rural Manchester.
