Pamela Anne Schuldt, 69, of Marion, passed away Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospice Unit, Cedar Rapids. Family will greet friends from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral
Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A private family burial will be at St. John's Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, Lt. Col. Shawn (Renee) Schuldt of Springfield, Va., and Tiffany Elwood of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Carson Schuldt, 14, Gabrielle Schuldt, 11, Callum Elwood, 8, and Gavin Elwood, 4; siblings, Dale (Dottie) Klees, Greg Klees and Debbie Klees, all of Cedar Rapids; sister-in-law, Sue Klees; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Butch; and sister-in-law, Christy Klees.
Pam was born Dec. 25, 1946, in Rossville, Iowa, daughter of Armand and Marguerite (Deeny) Klees. She graduated from Jefferson High School and attended college, receiving a degree as a paralegal. Pam married Gary Schuldt on June 1, 1968, at St. Ludmila Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids, and later divorced. She later retired from AEGON.
Pam's children and grandchildren were her whole life and desire. They were the reason she woke up every morning and slept in peace at night. She thanked God every day for the blessings they have given her.
