Pamela S. Vagle, 61, of Fairfax, Iowa, died Tuesday, June 21, 2022. A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 27, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids. A memorial service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, at the funeral home.
Pam was born Nov. 12, 1960, in Springfield, Ill., the daughter of Marilyn Sue (Jones) and Paul Richard Miller Sr. She graduated from Bettendorf High School and went on to attend Kirkwood Community College and Mt. Mercy College, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in marketing. Pam was united in marriage to David Harold Vagle on July 30, 1994. She worked for MCI WorldCom/Verizon Business for 27 years, and then for Dee Electronics Inc. in Cedar Rapids. Pam was a member of Moose Lodge 304 in Cedar Rapids. She enjoyed golfing, going to concerts, reading and spending time with her grandson.
Survivors include her husband, David Vagle of Fairfax; children, Stephanie (Justin) Vasey of Marion, and Sean Roddy of Cedar Rapids; grandson, Rutledge; parents, Marilyn and Paul Miller Sr.; and brothers, Mike (Karen) Miller of Milan, Ill., Don (Mary) Miller of Waterman, Ill., Ron (Patty) Miller of Moline, Ill., Paul Miller Jr. (Gary Lefever) of Sun City, Ariz., and Ray (Laura) Miller of Aurora, Ill.
