Pamela K. Lane, 62, of Marion, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015, in her home. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 24, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories with burial to follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Gary Deaville will officiate the service. A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 23, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Pamela was born May 20, 1952, to LeRoy and Mary Arlene (Hayes) Grobstich in Dubuque, Iowa. She graduated from Jefferson High School and Kirkwood Community College where she earned a degree in fashion design. Pamela married Ronald R. Lane on June 7, 1975. Together they had two children and enjoyed 40 years of marriage. Pamela was a loving homemaker to her family. She enjoyed caring for her family, attending Bible studies at church and was a member of the New Covenant Bible Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald R. Lane; her children, Michelle (Greg) Greene of Cedar Rapids and Jamison R. (Amanda) Lane of Cedar Rapids; and her siblings, Linda (Richard) Hill of Hagerstown, Md., Debra Grobstich of Cedar Rapids, Roger Grobstich of Hiawatha and David Grobstich of Cedar Rapids. In addition, Pam is also survived by her grandchildren, Rebecca and Paige Greene and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Anthony "Rick" Grobstich; sister-in-law, Angie Grobstich; and twin grandchildren, Chance and Carson Greene.
