Ownby, Michael
Michael Ownby, 66, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at ABCM Rehabilitation West in Independence. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, June 8, at Church of Christ United, Winthrop. Private burial will be at a later date. Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday at Fawcett Funeral Home in Winthrop and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Survivors include daughters, Andrea Ownby of Urbana and Beth Ownby and Tina (Mark) Fangman of Independence; his grandchildren, Adam Ownby, Ty Fangman, Carter Fangman and Ellie Fangman; his brother, Kim (Miriam) Ownby of Ripon, Wis.; and his very special friend, Linda Mayner and her family.
