Owens, Loretta M.
Loretta M. Owens, 80, of Marion, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Funeral Service: noon Friday, Feb. 4, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion. Family will greet friends one hour before the service. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion, Iowa.
Survivors include her husband, Pat; two children, Daniel (Brenda) Broghammer of Davenport, and Becky (Ron) Roberts of Arizona; five grandchildren, Joshua Broghammer,Anne Ironside, John Broghammer, Ron Roberts and Michelle Almond; five great-grandchildren, Jack, Max, Brogan, Harley and Elizabeth; siblings, Charles (Darlene) Willson, James (Marilyn) Willson and Margaret Graves; and a half sister, Anne (Harold) Aschim.
She was preceded in death by her first husband and her parents.
Loretta was born May 1, 1930, in Decorah, Iowa, the daughter of Frank P. and Grace (Mali) Willson.She married Leo Broghamer,who died in 1973. She then married Patrick Owens. She retired from Rockwell Collins.Loretta was a devoted mother. She loved to laugh, dance and get together with friends.
