Otto Sr., William R. 'Bill'
William R. “Bill” Otto Sr. was born Dec. 29, 1942, to Max R. and Esther C. Otto in Iowa City, Iowa. He passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at Conway Regional Medical Center in Conway, Ark.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Cantrell Otto; two sons, Willam R. Otto Jr. and Bryant C. Otto, both of Conway, Ark.; his mother, Esther C. Otto of Iowa City; and two brothers, Dr. Donald Otto and wife Donna of Knoxville and Robert Otto of Iowa City.
Bill graduated from Iowa City High School and then the University of Iowa, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy. After practicing pharmacy for several years he owned and operated Otto Dental Supply Co. in Conway.
When not at work he could be found at the family farm, the airport or duck hunting with his sons and their friends.
Per his request a Celebration of Life for family and friends, instead of a funeral, was held Feb. 27 at the home of Dr. R. E. and Donna Hambuchen in Conway, Ark.
Instead of flowers, please make a donation to the Dennis F. and Marjory Cantrell, Bill and Pat Otto student emergency fund at the University of Central Arkansas, UCA Foundation, 201 Donaghey Ave., Conway, AR 72035.
