Otto Cyril Benischek, 72, of Hanceville, Ala., died Tuesday, July 8, 2014, in Cullman, Ala. Funeral services will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oxford Junction, at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 12, with a visitation before the service from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will take place at Mayflower Cemetery in Oxford Junction.
Otto is survived by his fiancee, Debra Young; his children, Victoria (Todd) Williams, Matthew (Alice) Benischek and Nathaniel (Sarah) Benischek; eight grandchildren; siblings, Carolyn Zaruba of Clarence, Steven (Barb) Benischek of Lost Nation, Mary Jo Smiley of Anamosa and Beverly (Mark) Valerius of Davenport.
