OTILIA "TICKY" SCHLONDORF

Otilia "Ticky" Schlondorf, 88, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Aug. 16, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Family will greet friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednes-day, Aug. 19, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Andrew (Ann-Marie) Herrmann and Donna (Dave) Herrmann, both of Cedar Rapids, David Herrmann of Oklahoma and Howard (Michelle) Bruner, Chris (Lloyd) Bealsey and Wendy Bealsey, all of Cedar Rapids; and a brother-in-law, Don Aldrichs of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Betty Bruner, Jean Herrmann, Evelyn Weiss and Frances Aldrichs; and nieces and nephews.
Ticky was born July 22, 1927, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, daughter of Sofus and Hilda (Little) Andersen. She graduated from high school in Cedar Rapids. Ticky worked as a timekeeper for the Union Pacific Railroad in Omaha, Neb., for 39 years.
She loved painting ceramics, reading and her best little friend, her cat, Tiger.
