Osweiler, Helen Theresa
Helen Theresa Osweiler died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, at English Valley Care Center in North English at the age of 77 years. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 16, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in North English. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Little Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Powell Funeral Home in North English, where a prayer service will be held at 4 p.m.
Helen is survived by a son, Doug Osweiler and wife Deena of South English; a brother, Gene Leeney of Oxford; and two sisters, Alice Kyle of Iowa City and Jocile Leeney of Des Moines.
A memorial fund has been established for Alzheimer's Research.
