Oscar T. Wilson, 74, of Tipton, passed away Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, at Mercy Iowa City. A Celebration of Life service honoring Oscar will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton. Pastor Ron Lashmit will start the celebration at 2 p.m. with a short service, followed by refreshments and fellowship with friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, please take somebody out for a cup of coffee or donate to the Friends of the Animals.

Oscar was born Feb. 1, 1940, to Robert and Tina (Case) Wilson in Elkton, Ky. On July 25, 1959, he married the love of his life, Carolyn McCraw, in Allegre, Ky. Together, they had a daughter, Donna. Oscar finished his career at Heinz Corporation in Muscatine as a supervisor of their food production facilities. He was formerly a member of the Tipton Rotary Club and the Tipton Lion's Club. He also was a member of the Tipton Country Club. Oscar enjoyed spending time with friends, bowling, golfing, fishing and woodworking. His greatest passion was his garden and Oscar enjoyed sharing the veggies he grew with friends and family. His greatest love of all was his family.
Oscar is survived by his wife, Carolyn; daughter, Donna (Dale) Wulfekuhle of Marion; sisters, Nancy Laster, Kathleen Case, Bess Rager and Mildred Wilson, all of Elkton, Ky., and Rachelle Jones of Ohio; sisters-in-law, Martha Wilson and Johneese Wilson; brother, Steve Wilson of Alberta, Canada; grandchildren, Brian (Brittnie) Gerard of Cedar Rapids, Brandon Tuttle and Jake Wulfekuhle of Marion; and two great-grandsons, Lucas Oscar Gerard and Aiden of Cedar Rapids.
Oscar was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Layton Wilson and James Earl Wilson.
