Orcutt, Zetta B.
Zetta B. Orcutt, 91, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center. Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, at New Covenant Bible Church, with Pastor Bob Westfall officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Burial will be in the Walker Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Zetta Bernice Orcutt was born Sept. 1, 1919, to Charlie and Ina (Moore) Griffin in Alburnett, Iowa. Zetta was united in marriage to Russell T. Orcutt on March 5, 1941, in Coggon. He passed away in 2001. They farmed in the Troy Mills area from 1941 to 1975.
She enjoyed reading, stitching, golfing and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her two sons, Bill (Gail) Orcutt of Des Moines and Jim Martha) Orcutt of North Platte, Neb.; two daughters, Elaine (Jim) Hilliard of Vinton and Linda (Steven) Baumgartel of Cedar Rapids; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Zetta was preceded in death by her parents; spouse; and sister, Leota Klemm.
Memorial donations may be directed to Mercy Hospice.
