Oralee Pearl, 100, a resident of The Meth-Wick Community, formerly of Denver, Colo., died at Meth-Wick on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014. Graveside
services will be at a later date at Crown Hill Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Colo.
Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
Survivors include four nieces, Marti (David) Gray of Cedar Rapids, June (Robert) Nickels of Mack, Colo., and Lora and Lisa Palmer, both of Denver, Colo. She is also survived by two grandnieces, Shauna and Jenna Gray; one grandnephew, Jamie Gray; and a great-grand-nephew, Cody.
She was preceded in death by her husband and five siblings.
Oralee was born Nov. 5, 1913, in Missouri, the daughter of John and Martha Paterson Palmer. She married Robert G. Pearl. He passed away in 1974. Oralee had been a postmaster in Merino, Colo., for several years and later retired as a supervisor from AT&T after more than 30 years of
service.
Oralee was a member of the Friendship Club. She was an avid antiques collector and enjoyed traveling with her husband throughout the United States, Mexico and Canada.
Oralee was a wonderful person whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
