O'Meara, Robert H.
Active in his community, Bob served as president of the Cedar Rapids-Marion Chamber of Commerce, president of the Civic Development Division, and served on the boards of Kirkwood Community College, local Red Cross, American Heart Association, Cancer Crusade and YMCA.
Bob and Meg celebrated their 70th anniversary, six weeks before his death.
Bob is survived by Meg, and their children, Dan, Tim, Matt and Molly, and nine grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home at a later date.
Meg and family wish that any donations in his honor be made to the Alzheimer's Association/East Central Iowa Chapter, 317 Seventh Ave. SE, #402, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401; or to a charity of your choice.
