Olswold, Clarice
Clarice Olswold, 94, of Amana, died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Per her wishes, her body was donated to the University of Iowa for medical research. A memorial service will be held in January. Inurnment will be in First Lutheran Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials may be contributed to Trinity Lutheran Church in Walford.
Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, is in charge of arrangements.
Clarice is survived by her sons, Eugene of New Ulm, Minn., Charles (Alice) of Muscatine, Richard (Bonnie) of Middlesex, N.Y., and Ronald (Debbie) of Walford; nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a half sister, Iva Nelson of Ames.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence L. Olswold in February; her son, Allen in July; and a sister, Ethel Muller.
