Olsem, Betty Hubbard
Betty Hubbard Olsem, 82, of Dyersville, formerly of Monticello, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at Shady Rest Care Center, Cascade, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, at Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello, where friends may call after 10 a.m. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The Rev. Al Polito will officiate at the services.
Surviving are three children and their families, Charles (Elisabeth) Hubbard, Centennial, Colo., Kahnie (Ron Hartman) Jaeger, Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Susan (Al) Smuda, Lake Villa, Ill.; six grandchildren, Courtney and Bard Hubbard, Stephanie Blankenship and Jeffrey Jaeger, Aaron and Vanessa Hunter; four great-grandchildren, Wyatt Blankenship, Eliana Hanna, Caleb and Elise Jaeger; eight stepchildren, Judy Goetschius, Deb Ament, David, Rick, Daniel and Jeffrey Olsem, Deanne Tobin and Denise Ostwinkle; 23 stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two husbands, James Hubbard and Marvin Olsem.
