Olin L. Lloyd of Iowa City passed away May 10, 2021. He was 89 years old.
Surviving Olin are his cherished wife of 67 years, Rene; children, John (Michelle) Lloyd, Cynthia (Gary) Hotka, Gerry (Lois) Lloyd and Janice (the late Frank) Willhite; grandchildren, Jacob (Lisa) Lloyd, Jessica (Anthony) Black, Morgan (Andrew) Hockenson, Melanie (Reid) Hockenson, Joseph (Molly) Hotka, Geoffrey (Rachel) Lloyd, Daniel (Larah) Llloyd, Malia (Devin) Gallentine, Lanea (Dean) Soteropulos and Kyle Lloyd; and great-grandchildren, Leah Black, Madelyn Hockenson, Blaise Hockenson, Alina Hockenson, Jadeyn Hotka, Josey Hotka and Eve Gallentine.
Visitation: Thursday, May 13, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Gay and Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service, 2720 Muscatine Ave., Iowa City, Iowa. Funeral service: Friday, May 14, 10 a.m., also at the funeral home. Olin will be laid to rest at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City.
Memorial contributions in Olin's memory may be made to the Iowa City VFW, Disabled American Veterans, or the St. Jude's Children Hospital.
