Ok Ohlfest, 58, went to the loving arms of Jesus after suffering a brain aneurism Friday, Feb. 14, 2014.
Ok had been married to Mike Ohlfest for nearly 34 years and together they had a wonderful daughter, Megan Christina Ohlfest, who is now 20 years old.
Ok was a native of the Republic of Korea and met Mike while he was serving there with the Army in 1978. She was very active in her Catholic faith and volunteered in nearly every possible opportunity. Ok was an avid fisherwoman and was a wonderful and loving wife and mother and will be missed by her family and all who she touched with her life.
Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, at the Jefferson Funeral Chapel, 5755 Castlewellan Dr., Alexandria, VA 22315. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at Fort Belvoir Woodlawn Chapel, 5950 12th St., Fort Belvoir, VA 22060. Interment will be held at Mount Vernon Cemetery in Iowa at a later date.
