Odell, LeRoy C. 'Lee' Jr.
LeRoy C. “Lee” Odell, Jr., 89, a resident of Cottage Grove Place, Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Aug. 16, 2010. Per Lee's wishes, there will be no services or visitation. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion.
Survivors include his two children, Jan (Bob) Butterworth of Marion, and Michael L. Odell of Cedar Rapids; one grandson, Mitchell Odell; and a sister, Ruth Lorton of Menlo Park, Calif.
Lee was born August 17, 1920, the son of LeRoy Clark and Rose Minna (Hellwege) Odell, Sr., in St. Louis, Mo. He married Shirley Bopp on May 12, 1946.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Cedar Valley Humane Society in Lee's memory.
