June L. O'Brien, 96, of Iowa City, formerly of the Cosgrove area, died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012, at Crestview Nursing and Rehab Center in West Branch. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Iowa City (Sunday parking ordinance will be in effect for the streets around the church.). Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery (old section) in Iowa City. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Gay and Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service, where a parish vigil service will be shared at 3:30 p.m. Additional visitation will be held at the church one hour before services on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her memory to Crestview Nursing and Rehab Center or Iowa City Hospice.
