Ny'Liyah Rose-Mary Cartman of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the three week old angel, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 26, 2015, at home. Services: noon Saturday, May 2, at Word of Faith Pentecostal Church of God in Christ, Cedar Rapids, conducted by Pastor Haywood Stowe. Family will greet friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 1, at
the Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. There will be an additional visitation will be one hour before the service Saturday at the church. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Survivors include her parents, Lashawandra Postley and Deonta Cartman, both of Cedar Rapids; grandparents, Genail and Caroline Postley of Marion, Cynthia Mwamba of Cedar Rapids and Joshua Cartman of Hazel Crest, Ill.; and many other loving family members.
Ny'Liyah was born on April 2, 2015, in Cedar Rapids, daughter of Lashawandra Postley and Deonta Cartman.
A memorial fund has been established.
