Nussbaum, Dr. Kim
Dr. Kim Nussbaum of Fountain Hills, Ariz., formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away suddenly May 28, 2012 in Fountain Hills.
She was born July 22, 1959 in Cedar Rapids. After attending Washington High School and Iowa State University, she continued her education and received an MBA from Kellogg at Northwestern in Evanston, Ill. She later graduated from the University of Chicago Medical School and did her residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She was a doctor of dermatology at North Scottsdale Dermatology.
Surviving are her daughter, Olga, and Olga's father, Ron; her parents, Chuck and Mary Brolin, Cedar Rapids; her brother, Kane (Danika) and family; as well as aunts, nieces, nephews and many friends and colleagues.
Kim enjoyed travel and the special times she set aside to ride her Icelandic horses with her daughter.
Kim was a loving mother and dear friend to all who knew her. Her kindness, love and grace will be missed by everyone she touched.
A memorial service was held at Joy Christian Church in Fountain Hills, Ariz. June 5, 2012.
