Nurre, Paul C.
Paul C. Nurre, 53, of Strawberry Point, died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009, as the result of an accident at the Aurora Elevator in Aurora. Mass of Resurrection: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Strawberry Point, with the Rev. Paul Peters as celebrant. Interment: St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 8:30 to 10 a.m. Monday at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Strawberry Point.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Nurre of Strawberry Point; his father, Charles Nurre of Strawberry Point; a stepdaughter, Dusty Rae (Kreg) Thein of Westgate; his siblings, Chris Nurre of Washington, Dan Nurre of DeKalb, Ill., Mark (Christina) Nurre of Oak Creek, Wis., Angie (Dick) Jansa of Ely, John (Lisa) Nurre of Strawberry Point and Joan (Ronnie) Boardman of Arlington; and many nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Nurre.
