Northrup, Dustin
Dustin Northrup, 29, of Cedar Rapids, died at St. Luke's Hospital Monday, Sept. 24, 2012. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Christ Episcopal Church, by the Rev. Martha Rogers. Entombment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and at the church after 9 a.m. Saturday.
Dustin is survived by his father, Robert (Monica) Northrup; brother, Shane (Amy); sister, Jenny (Jesse); nieces, Addison and Kiana; grandparents, Nellie Grade and William McDermott; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friend, Tasha Peterson; godson, Kayden; and beloved best friend, Weiser.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gina; grandparents, Wayne and Fern; and friend, Cale.
Dustin was born June 8, 1983, in Cedar Rapids. He graduated from Kennedy High School in 2001. He was a proud member of Millwright Local 2158.
Dustin will be remembered best for his personality and character. He was very caring and would do anything for family or friends.
His hobbies included camping, tubing, boating, watching movies, and Hawkeye football. He loved being surrounded by family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.
