Norma Lee Wells, 84, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House, Hiawatha. Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tipton, with the Rev. Richard Okumu officiating. Burial: Tipton Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before the service Friday at the church. Chapman

Survivors include her sons, William of Cedar Rapids and Dennis Day of Ohio; sisters, Geraldine Mathews of Rossville, Ind., and Dorothy (Paul) Rock of Franfort, Ind.; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents;
her husband; and a sister, Helen.
Norma Lee Wells was born Dec. 9, 1929, in Frankfort, Ind., to Joseph and Dellen Edge O'Bryan. She married Earl Wells on June 4, 1966. He died Sept. 21, 2009.
Norma was a beloved mother and enjoyed socializing with her friends in Stanwood. She worked as an office clerk in Davenport early in her career. Norma then worked at the Cedar County Care Facility in Tipton, did in-home aid service and was a homemaker. She enjoyed nature and bicycling with her husband, Earl. She will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Tipton Senior Services/Meals on Wheels.
