Norma Jean Kiefer, 68, of Swisher, passed away Monday, Aug. 31, 2015, in LeClaire. A celebration of her life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at Hope Lutheran Church, 2736 Bowling St. SW, in Cedar Rapids. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service at the church.
Memorials may be made to the family.

Norma was born March 26, 1947, in Postville, Iowa, the daughter of Ernest Wullner and Charlotte (Bentley) Wullner McMurrin. She had worked at General Mills for 35 years before her retirement in 2013.
She loved sewing for her family; gardening, especially flowers, and loved to cook and bake. Her family's favorite dishes were her lasagna and party potatoes.
Those left to honor her memory include her children: Jennie Gabel Lawrence, LeClaire; Robert "John" Bruce, Cedar Rapids; Jack E. Bruce, Central City; and Tina (Kirk) Barnts, Ely; her grandchildren, Curtis, Dale, Donald and Lyndsay Gabel; Harry Lawrence; Skyler Bruce; Joshua and Derrick Beadle; Jack Jr., Cody and Cynthia Bruce; Felicia Kiefer and Janeane and Michaela Barnts; 23 great-grandchildren; siblings, James, LeeRoy, Donald and Ronald (Victoria) Wullner; Sandra (Grinner) Pulliam and Albert Jr. and Bruce McMurrin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Albert McMurrin; one great-grandchild; and brothers, David, Richard and Robert Wullner.
