NORMA ANDERSEN
Suttons Bay, Mich.
Norma Nylene Andersen, 91, of Suttons Bay, Mich., formerly of Temple, Texas, and Center Point, Iowa, died Monday, March 12, 2018. A celebration of life will be held for Norma on Saturday, June 23, 2018, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Andersen
Family Community Center in Center Point, Iowa.
She is survived by five children, Ronald, Gregory, Andrew, Jeffrey and Susan; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chris Andersen; her parents; sisters, Roberta Sholes and Emi Slaymaker; and brother, Richard Haars.
Norma was born March 19, 1926, to Fred and Doris (Elliot) Haars in Walker, Iowa. She attended high school in Center Point, Iowa, and married Jack Kidd shortly after graduating. She and Jack had five children together. Norma remarried Chris Andersen in September 1976 in Center Point.
