Nora Ann Grother, 55, of Cedar Rapids, went to be with the Lord on Wednes-day, Jan. 14, 2015. A celebration of life will be 2 p.m. Saturday at New Disciples of Cedar Rapids, 621 Edgewood Rd. NW, with the Rev. Stasia Fine officiating.
Nora was born July 13, 1959, to Michael and Elsie (Champion) Grother. She graduated from Center Point schools. Nora was actively involved at New Disciples Christian Church and Milestones. She had many friends at Geneva Tower.
Survivors include siblings, Gary (Linda) Grother, Mike Grother, Larry (Donna) Fry, Michelle (Larry) Smith and Pam Hobby, all of Oklahoma, and Richard Grother, Texas; stepmother, Marilynn Grother, Iowa; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
