Nora Faye (Kinkead) Wade, 72, of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2021, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, Iowa. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, at Peace Christian Reformed Church, 6600 C Ave. NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Marion is assisting the family.

Faye was born on Sept. 17, 1948, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of George and Marjorie (Phelps) Kinkead. She attended Linn-Mar High School class of 1966. Faye was united in marriage to Larry Lee Wade on May 21, 1976, in Toddville, Iowa. The couple had two children. Faye worked for Rockwell Collins for 48 years, before retiring in 2014. She enjoyed all of her collectables, going to the casino with her friend Louise, being a member of the DAR and her dogs. Nora will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Faye is survived and lovingly remembered by her children, Heather Wade and Jeffery Wadel, both of Marion; sister, Peggy (Arie) DeJong of Hiawatha; two brothers, David Kinkead of Marion and James (Julie) Kinkead of Cedar Rapids; two stepchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Larry Wade.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Faye's memory may be made to Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy.
