Noggle, Lawrence 'Willie'
Lawrence “Willie” Noggle, 52, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at home. Family graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery, Masonville, Iowa, by the Rev. Mary Green. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his daughter, Rachel Noggle of Cedar Rapids; siblings, Malynda (Jeff) Stegman of Hiawatha, LaVern Noggle of Marion, LeRay Noggle and Lyndon (Donna) Noggle, both of Cedar Rapids, Machelle Noggle of Cedar Rapids and Marla (Pete) Prentice of Hiawatha; aunts and uncle, Cheryl (Frank) Ries of Hopkinton, Arlan Henderson of Masonville and Inez Udley of Waterloo; and several other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lowell and Marlene (Henderson) Noggle; and grandparents, Ray and Regina Noggle and Donald and Mabel Henderson.
Lawrence was born May 8, 1961, in Cedar Rapids, and was a lifelong resident. He attended Kennedy High School. Lawrence then worked at area restaurants, then later at Mount Mercy University as a custodian for 15 years. Lawrence enjoyed his bowling league at C.R. Bowling Center and Castle Lanes, collecting Hot Wheels, old Pontiac cars and watching racing.
