Thomas Wayne Noeller

Thomas Wayne Noeller succumbed to cancer Nov. 29, 2013, at Liberty Hospital, at the age of 73.

Thomas was predeceased by Helen and Lawrence Noeller, his parents; and Janet Rice, his sister.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Irmgard Noeller. They were married in Germany on June 15, 1961.

Thomas is lovingly remembered by his son, Michael Noeller; daughter-in-law, Susan Noeller; his stepdaughter, Levona Eckstein; his sister-in-law, Mariann Stern; his grandson, Cody Noeller; his granddaughter, Krystle Espinoza and her husband, Eduardo Espinoza; and his great-grandchildren, Xaviar and Ayla Espinoza.

Thomas was born in Vinton, Iowa, on Dec. 24, 1939. He graduated from Urbana High School in 1958. After graduation he enlisted in the Air Force and was stationed in Germany. Thomas ended his career with the Air Force in 1962. He then started his career with Delta Air Lines which lasted 29 years until his retirement.

Thomas loved to fish, hunt and work in his yard. He worked  extensively on his yard and spent a lot of time bird watching.

Thomas will be missed by all who knew him.
