Nims, Robert Allen
Robert Allen Nims, 62, of Clermont, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at his home following a 15-month battle with leukemia. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at West Clermont Lutheran Church, Clermont. The Rev. Ryan Zurbriggen and the Rev. Dwight Albers will officiate. Burial will follow in God's Acres Cemetery, Clermont. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Schutte–Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Clermont and one hour before services at the church on Tuesday.
Survivors include his wife, Luann Nims, Clermont; two sons, Christopher (Dee Dee) Nims, Robins, and Mitchell (Lindsey) Nims, Ames; two grandchildren, Kinnick Robert Nims and Alexis Melrose Nims, Robins; two brothers, LaVerne Nims, Clermont, and Gary (Melody) Nims, Drake, Colo.; one sister, Jeanette (Joe) Moschel, Hawkeye; and many nieces and nephews.
