Nimmo, Norma Marie
Norma Marie Nimmo, 85, of Edgewood, died Monday, July 18, 2011, at the Edgewood Convalescent Home following a brief illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 21, Greeley Community Church, Greeley, with Pastor Ruth Tibbott officiating. Interment: Edgewood Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home, Edgewood, and after 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Survivors include one brother, Marvin (Illa) Menge of Cedar Rapids; one sister, Annie Conner of Greeley; two sisters-in-law, Virgie Menge of Cascade, and Boone Menge of Garber; also Ray and Norma's “adopted” daughter, Vera Plesek of Cedar Rapids.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Ray; seven siblings, Raymond, Burdette, George, Mary Jane McDowell, Louis and twins in infancy; two nephews, Kenneth Menge and Truett Bateman; and two brothers-in-law, Ed McDowell and Larry Conner.
