Nieland, Coletta (Harbaugh)

Coletta (Harbaugh) Nieland, 82, of Guttenberg, died Monday, July 1, 2013, at the Guttenberg Care Center.
She was born Oct. 18, 1930, in Colesburg, Iowa, to Lloyd and Genevieve (Kauffman) Harbaugh.
Coletta is survived by her five children, Mona (Tony) Adams, Jeff (Cathy) Nieland, Jennifer Lake, Robert Nieland and Roberta Nieland; 10 grandchildren, Misty, Vicky, Chris, Jessie, Stephanie, Christopher, Zachary, Jeremy, Nichole and Oceana; five great-grandchildren, A.J., Phil, Colten, Caden and Brody and two on the way; siblings, Gary (Janice) Harbaugh and Richard Harbaugh; sisters-in-law, Arlene Harbaugh and Rosemary (Gordon) Neumann; brother-in-law, Raymond (Dana) Nieland; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, LaVern; sons, Delbert and Eugene Nieland; siblings, Eleanor Lewin, Shirley Berns, Jackie Scherf, George Harbaugh Sr., Lloyd Harbaugh Jr. and Carrol Harbaugh; sisters-in-law, Armella (Kenneth) Nuehring, Sharon Harbaugh and Ivanelle Harbaugh; and brothers-in-law, Elmer (Adele) Nieland, Oscar Cornwell, Robert Lewin and Kenneth Berns.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 6, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Guttenberg, with the Rev. Marvin Bries officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Guttenberg. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 5, at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 207 S. First St., Guttenberg, and one hour before services at the church.
In lieu of flowers and all styles of sympathy, Coletta asks that memorials be sent to either St. Mary's Catholic Church or St. Mary's Catholic School.
