Nicholas "Nick" A. Seaton, 35, of Keota, form-erly of Coralville, died Saturday, April 19, 2014, from injuries in an ATV accident in Keokuk County. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 24, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City, with burial to follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Coralville. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the
funeral home.
Memorial donations can be made to the QRS Responders or the Keota Fire Department.

Nick grew up in Coralville, where he attended West High School in Iowa City. He worked the second shift as a machinist for Civco Medical Solutions in Kalona. At a young age, fishing was his favorite outdoor activity whether with one of his parents or his childhood friends and more recently he had come to greatly enjoy the game of golf. He loved playing cards, had an easy-going personality and a unique sense of humor. Nick enjoyed life to the fullest and will be greatly missed!
His family includes his parents, Larry Seaton (Judy) of Oxford and Barbara Janes (Lynn) of Van Horne; his siblings, Keeley Carter (Rick) of Coralville, Trisha Seaton of Port Saint Lucie, Fla., Amanda Woods (Chad) of Creston and Brigitte Olson (Jeff) of Iowa City; eight nieces and nephews; his uncle, Hal Miller (Mary) of Iowa City; and his aunts, Susan Kalkan of Coal Valley, Ill., and Nancy Mast (Mike) of Anamosa.
Nick was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dale and Lois Miller and Dwayne and Norma Meredith.
