Nibras Algharib, 42, was united with God in his homeland of Samawah Al Muthanna, Iraq, at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, where he will suffer no more.
Nibras is survived by his five children, Ali, Anwir, Faith, Zainab and Hussain; and his parents, Anwir and Medina Algharib.
Nibras worked for the city of Cedar Rapids for many years. He enjoyed time with his friends and family. He was a man full of laughter who fought courageously without a complaint. He is loved deeply by his children and will never be forgotten.
