Newman, Doris J. George
Doris J. George Newman, 89, of Martelle, died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009, in St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, from complications due to a fall in her home. Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Martelle United Methodist Church, where the family will greet friends from 10 a.m. until service time. Friends may call Sunday from 2 until 5 p.m. at Morgan Funeral and Cremation Choices, Mount Vernon Chapel. Burial: Springville Cemetery.
