Neva Marie Cawthorne, 89, of Fairfax, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021. A public visitation will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Funeral service will immediately follow at
2 p.m. Burial at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Neva was born March 12, 1932, in Wellman, Iowa, the daughter of Ernie and Alma (Strum) Hole. She was united in marriage to David Cawthorne in 1983. She was a longtime resident of Fairfax. Neva enjoyed a career as a bookkeeper with Life Investors (Aegon), retiring after 30 years. She had a love for sewing and square dancing, which she toured the country for.
Neva is survived by her sons, Tony (Pamela) Fabor and Marshall (Bonnie) Fabor; sisters, Margaret Niles and Doris French; brother, Vernie Hole; and a large extended family.
Neva was preceded in death by her husband, David Cawthorne; parents; and brother, Donald Hole.
