Neva Hardy, 92, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, at Church of Christ United, Winthrop. Burial: Mount Hope Cemetery, Independence. Visitation Time: 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, at Fawcett Funeral Home in Winthrop and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Survivors include her son, Russell (JoAnn) Hardy of Mason City; three daughters, Carol (Frank) Adkins of West Bend, Wis., Sharon Gladwin of Cedar Rapids and Lori (Douglas) Derr of Independence; daughter-in-law, Jane Weston of Independence; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a brother, Claire Whitney; and sister, Arline Lahue of Shellsburg.
