Neva Mae Collins, 86, formerly of Oxford Junction and Clarence, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014, at the Mech-anicsville Nursing Home. Graveside Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 29, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Olin, Iowa.
Neva Mae Collins was born March 21, 1928, to parents Charles William and Alice Florence (Burtox) Collins in Grand Meadow, Minn. Neva worked as a farmer and enjoyed her flowers, plants and gardening. She spent her free time watching television and reading.
Neva is survived by her niece, Jean (Larry) Nelson of Albert Lee, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister.
Memorials in her memory are preferred to Camp Courageous of Iowa in Monticello.
