Nekola, June Irene
June Irene Nekola, 84, formerly of Elberon, died Saturday, March 9, 2013, at the Keystone Nursing Care Center following a lingering illness. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, at Hrabak Funeral Home in Belle Plaine by Pastor Steven Rempfer. Burial will be at Stayskal Cemetery, rural Chelsea. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
She is survived by daughters, Diane Hoover of Linn, Mo., and Linda (Jerry) Fintel of Elberon; sons, Edward (Linda) Nekola of Cedar Rapids, Ronald (Colleen) Nekola of Jesup and Jake (Pat) Nekola of Elberon; sister, Karen Nekola of Tama; brothers, Donald (Sarah) Dolash and Fred Dolash, both of Tama; and by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed; parents, Albert and Ella (Zeman) Dolash; brothers, Art and George Dolash; sister, Rosalie Petermeyer; daughter-in-law, Kathy Nekola; son-in-law, Gary Hoover; grandson, Christopher Fintel; and great-granddaughter, Maggie Kesl.
