Neff, Charles Eric
Charles Eric Neff, beloved father and devoted husband, died at age 56, Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011, in his home.
A resident of Sunshine, La., and a 1972 graduate of Washington High School in Cedar Rapids, he was employed by Plaquemine Towing for 31 years. He enjoyed working on the river, reading and the outdoors.
Survived by his children, Jamie and Shannon Cernich and Ryan and Suzanne Causin of Gonzales, La., and Aaron and Angela Banta of Sunshine; grandchildren, Shelby, Breanna, Avera, Alaura, Ty, Jenna, Becca and Lyla; siblings, Bob and Judy Neff of Dixon, Mo., Tom and Barbara Neff of Lansdale, Pa., Linda and Jerry Regan of Ely, and Kathy and Jeff Arnold of Solon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by beloved wife, Susan “Becky” Neff; and parents, Howard and Donna Neff.
