Neff, Anna Marie
Anna Marie Neff, 98, of 3410 12th Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, July 31, 2010, at St. Luke's Hospital after a short illness. Private family services will be held Saturday at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be no public visitation.
Survivors include two sons, George and his wife, Barbara and William and his wife, Sarah; and a sister, Dorothy Haberle, all of Cedar Rapids.
She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Steve, Jon, Tom, Susan, Chris, Laura and David; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister, Bertha and a brother, George.
Anna Marie was born on August 4, 1911, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of George and Anna Schlichting Heimendahl. She married William D. Neff on Nov. 25, 1944, in Cedar Rapids. He died in 1997. Anna Marie was a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Marion, as well as being a member of United Methodist Women. She enjoyed cooking, baking and especially the time spent with her family and friends.
