Neagle, Darlene Ann
Darlene Ann Neagle, 79, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, at Living Center East following a long illness. Memorial services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, at Olivet Presbyterian Church, by the Rev. Sonda Kirsteatter. Private inurnment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.
Darlene is survived by her husband, Robert; nieces, nephews, and friends.
Darlene was born May 24, 1931, in Dubuque, the daughter of John J. and Mae M. (Rhoades) Hestroffer. She married Robert Allen Neagle on May 6, 1951, in Cedar Rapids.
Darlene worked many years at Coe College as executive secretary. She was a long time member of Olivet Presbyterian Church and served as session member, clerk of session, deacon, served on numerous church committees, and was church secretary for many years.
