Nathan Allen Twedt, 20,
of Marion, passed away Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion and one hour before the service Friday at the church. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16, at First United Methodist Church in Marion conducted by Pastor Mike Morgan. Burial will take place at Oak Shade Cemetery in Marion.
Nathan is survived by his parents, Richard and Stacey Twedt of Marion; his sister, Madison Twedt of Cedar Falls; his grandparents, Ron and Janine Stellick of Manchester and Roberta Twedt of Nevada, Iowa; uncles and aunts, David (Cherie Camuel) Stellick, Douglas (Deborah) Twedt and Trenton (Jennifer) Twedt; and his cousins, Samantha Twedt, Allison Twedt, Garret Twedt, Cora Twedt and Carson Viets.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Darwin Twedt.
Nathan was born Aug. 22, 1996, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Richard and Stacey (Stellick) Twedt. He graduated from Linn-Mar High School in 2015 and was currently enrolled at the University of Northern Iowa.
A memorial fund has been established in Nate's memory.
